Homestay :

Trekking trips are amongst the most popular trekking trips in Ladakh, that involves a different experience of staying with local Ladakhi villagers, while trekking through the sculpted canyons, fantastic rock formations, medieval villages, Buddhist gompas, snow-capped peaks and isolated villages. Most of the homestay treks being in Hemis National Park, there is always an opportunity of spotting rare species of wild animals.

Markha Valley Trek (8 days) :

This trek is easily accessible from Leh and offers a large diversity of landscapes. The green oasis of the Markha Valley guarded by Kang Yatse 6400mts from east and Zanskar range from the south west. From any of the high points you can have breath-taking views of the Korakoram Saser Kangri peak (7670mts) Stok Kangri (6150mts) Kang Yatse 6400mts.and Nun Kun (7135mts.) During this trek you will go through many scattered high villages, each with irrigated fields of barley, wheat and mustard which adds brilliance to the landscape of this broken moon land, and Markha valley trek is a part of Hemis National Park, Where there is always an opportunity of spotting wild animals. We have departures to the famous Markha Valley every second day from 1st of June to 10th of October.

Spituk to Stok Trek (4 days) Rumbak valley Trek :

This is a part of the Markha Valley trek, famous for wild animals, National Geographic made an award winning documentary in the Rumbak valley regarding Snow Leopards. This is the perfect trek If you are looking for a shorter option, beautiful view and moderate difficulty, this trek is definitely for those who have very short time in Ladakh, yet they want to have a flavor of trekking in Ladakh.

Spituk to Chilling (5 days) via Gandala 4900m :

This trek is in the same as the above one but here instead going to Stoka we take you to Yurutse towards south go through Sihingo and skiu via the high pass of Gandala, finally after crossing the Zanskar River we will reach at Chilling.

Likir to Temisgam (5 Days trek) :

This is one of the easy moderate treks in Ladakh, easy to start for those who have short time to get acclimitize. It runs through western part of Leh Sham. The trek will give you a great opportunity to see several ancient monasteries and villages rich in culture and agriculture, one of the best treks to see nice landscape and life-style of Ladakhis.

Lamayuru, Wanla, and Alchi are too important to be missed because of their historical values. This trek is unique in that it offers an opportunity to see not only the many natural beauties of Ladakh, but also some of its most famous monasteries.

Lamayuru to Chilling Trek (6 days) :

The valley of Sham, in the lower part of Ladakh, is celebrated for its beauty and richness during the harvesting season. This trek follows the old caravan route to Lamayuru, which diverges from the Kargil – Leh road at the Phatu La. According to legend, Lamayuru was once a lake, which miraculously disappeared by the hand of Lotsawa Naropa. The monastery at Lamayuru, built in the 10th century, is one of the oldest in Ladakh, and belongs to the Kargyu sect of Tibetan Buddhism. This trek offers not only view of the many natural beauties of Ladakh, but also some of its most famous monasteries and the traditional lifestyle of the natives.
